Following brunch, Marie will read an excerpt from The Personal Librarian as she discusses her work and the importance of telling the stories of women in history. Following brunch, guests will have an opportunity to meet Marie and have her sign their complimentary copy of The Personal Librarian (included in the cost of registration). Guests will also have the option to buy additional titles by Marie Benedict. Purchase your tickets early to receive a special discounted ticket price of $85 per person. Marie Benedict is a lawyer with more than ten years' experience as a litigator. A graduate of Boston College and the Boston University School of Law, she is the New York Times and USA Today bestselling author of The Only Woman in the Room, The Mystery of Mrs. Christie, Carnegie's Maid, The Other Einstein, and Lady Clementine. All have been translated into multiple languages. She lives in Pittsburgh with her family.
