About the Author
Sherri Maret is a former teacher and library media specialist who makes her home in Pennsylvania. A member of the Choctaw Nation, she is the author of The Cloud Artist: A Choctaw Tale. Since researching The Magician, she has added amateur magician to her skill set. She enjoys teaching children magic tricks. Artist, musician, and former public school teacher, Pamela Behrend was illustrator for The Survivor Tree, an award-winning picture book about the April 19, 1995, Oklahoma City bombing. She lives and keeps her art studio in Pennsylvania.
