Praise For…

"As a parent, it can be hard to find the right words to use to help our toddlers practice being thankful. Thanks to Dr. Freeman, we now have a powerful tool to cultivate and recognize kindness in everyday situations, from sharing a toy to spending time with family." —Elizabeth Bagley, PhD, educator and mother of two

"This book reflects ways that young children can express feeling thankful and is a welcome addition to children's literature focused on emotions and kindness. It is culturally inclusive, brightly illustrated, and includes intergenerational examples that will be familiar to toddlers and those who care for and about them." —Beth Blue Swadener, professor, School of Social Transformation, Arizona State University

"Kindness enriches the lives of those who give it and those who receive it, increasing both mental and physical wellbeing. Toddlers are able to recognize and understand kindness, but they often need help understanding how to be kind, and how to show their appreciation for others' kindness. Drawing on her background as both an education professional and a mother, Stacey Freeman provides engaging, accessible guidance for the wee ones, while Letícia Moreno's bright, uplifting illustrations will keep young viewers focused on the book's important messages about kindness. Share this book with children and help make the world a kinder place!" —Daniel M.T. Fessler, PhD, director of the UCLA Bedari Kindness Institute and professor of anthropology at the University of California, Los Angeles
