If you're young and you live or have lived in the city, this is an absolute must-read book. Otherwise, it's just a highly recommended read. Chabon captures youth and summer, and he wraps them into these pages. One of my favorite books.

The Hitchhiker's Guide, it's a classic! All five books are in this one complete tome, making zipping through them a sinch, but beware: taken all at once, they begin to diminish. Taken one at a time with time in between and they never lose their charm!
