Recommended to me by a thoughtful friend, I picked up this book up and could not put it down. This is a fast-paced monologue set in a cafe in Lahore in which a young Pakistani is telling his story to a mysterious stranger. It is an insightful glimpse into the struggle of cultural ambivalence and identity. The author grew up in Pakistan and attended Princeton and Harvard.
