LETTERS FROM GUERNSEY Annie Barrows helped her dying aunt complete the book she’d dreamed of publishing. Together they created The Guernsey Literary and Potato Peel Pie Society, an endearing classic for the ages! Annie Barrows opens the 2010/11 Drue Heinz Lectures with their sweet and surprising story of success that stunned the publishing world. Annie Barrows, whose career also included work in libraries, bookstores, and publishing, is the author of the Ivy & Bean series for children, as well as the children's novel The Magic Half. She is currently at work on her next novel to be published by The Dial Press.
