Jan Mallak & Teresa Bailey
Douglas' Guide to Birthing Your Way is unlike other books about childbirth. Written for the mother who may or may not have a doula (who provides professional labor support), the book explains to the mother what to expect and leads her through the end of her pregnancy, her child's birth, and what happens postpartum. This way, she can have the birth she envisions as she completes her passage into motherhood. The two authors have over 40 years of combined experience in the baby business and are locally-based certified doulas.
Gabbriella Conte
Shame on Me I thought You Were My Friend is the story of one woman's journey of navigating through the complexities of divorce and teh discoveries of self awareness. Claiming to be neither a how-to- nor a self help book, iti is instead an honest look at a woman's struggle from the pain of her past to her victorious emergence into her new life. It is a good read for anyone, not just those struggling through divorce.
Marie Richmond
Marie is the mother of five girls, the youngest of whom was adopted from China. In addition to raising five daughters, Marie also teaches water aerobics and Pilates. She received dual bachelor's degrees from Marquette university in history and Spanish and a certificate for teaching English as a second language from the University of British columbia. Cynthia Van Auken
Cynthia Van Auken was raised in an Air Fore family among six brothers and one sister. She grew up on the move and was homeschooled, graduating in 2007. She always has loved fairy tales, from Beauty and the Beast to A Wizard of Earth Sea, inspiring her to write her own novel.
